Matt F.W. Curran is the writer of two historical fantasy novels (The Secret War, The Hoard of Mhorrer) and two young adult science fiction stories (Sandcastles on the Moon, After the Sea Rose). He lives in Sheffield with his wife, Sarah, and two children, dividing his time between writing stories and serving the local community.

He is the creator of Thirst eDition Fiction, the Macmillan New Writers blog, and has been struck by lightning twice.
